Stepping out of its comfort zone, Pizza Hut Hong Kong has partnered with Ser Wong Fun, a century old Hong Kong restaurant that is renowned for this snake dishes. This unique ‘snake pizza’ includes shredded snake meat, black mushrooms, and Chinese dried ham. Notably, these are all the key ingredients of an authentic snake stew.

This unconventional culinary creation is inspired by the traditional snake stew itself. It is a popular delicacy in Hong Kong and Southern China, particularly during the colder months. Snake meat is believed to possess various health benefits, including improving skin conditions and enhancing blood circulation.

The snake pizza is available for a limited time until November 22. It features a 9-inch crust and the base of an abalone sauce, replacing the regular tomato sauce base. Pizza Hut’s bold decision to introduce this new pizza flavour has generated considerable buzz online, drawing attention to the cuisine of Hong Kong.
