New Delhi: Goddess Durga idol has been reported made using 1.25 lakh American diamonds. The said idol was made merely within 3 months by Bengali artisans in Rajastahan.
Reportedly, as many as 10 Bengali artisans created the said statue of Goddess Durga that is 9.5 feet tall and 4.5 feet wide. The idol was made in Churu district of Rajasthan.
Reportedly, the artisans used a special technique to fix the diamonds on the idol and the pieces were arranged in such a way that they created dazzling effect.
In another instance, in Agartala also a grand statue of Maa Durga was created. The idol was adorned with gold jewellery and American diamond worth Rs 4 crores.

It is to be noted that Navratri is a vibrant nine-day long festival that holds much religious value. It is celebrated by Hindus across the globe. This year the festival started on October 15 while it will continue till October 24.
