Jim Arrington, the world's oldest bodybuilder, has once again made history by breaking his own Guinness World Record at the age of 90 years.

Jim Arrington, the world’s oldest bodybuilder, has once again made history by breaking his own Guinness World Record at the age of 90 years and 38 days. Participating in the International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness Professional League event in Reno, Nevada, Jim secured third place in the men’s over-70 category and clinched the top spot in the over-80 category.

Jim’s journey to becoming a record-breaking bodybuilder is truly inspiring. Born prematurely and weighed only 2.5 kg, he battled asthma and frequent illnesses during his childhood, leaving him in a frail state. However, at the age of 15 in 1947, he made a life-changing decision to pursue fitness and dreamed of becoming a superhero.

Maintaining an unwavering dedication to his passion for weightlifting, Jim follows a rigorous workout schedule, hitting the gym three times a week, with each session lasting two hours. His trainer attests to his exceptional fitness levels, saying he outperforms many clients at the gym.

Over the years, Jim’s diet has evolved to support his training and overall health. He has made a shift to include healthier options such as olive oil, mushrooms, and other nutritious produce, avoiding foods that cause inflammation as he aged.

Having been a devoted bodybuilder for more than 50 years, Jim has participated in numerous competitions and attributes his success to outlasting competitors through sheer perseverance.
