There is a saying, patience brings happiness. This saying has come true for 35-year-old Mohd Arshad, who finally got married after a long 15-year wait and several rejections because of his short height. Arshad who is 3.7 feet tall got married to 4-feet-tall Sona after many rejections. This incident took place in Uttar Pradesh.
Due to his short height, Arshad had to face many unpleasant remarks from people and has always been worried about his marriage. But, he had not lost hope and was waiting for his right life partner who will accept him as he is.
However, god always has plans for us human beings. With blessings from god, his wait finally paid off and he finally met Sona. Even though, Sona accepted him, her family opposed their marriage because of his height. However, they are destined to be together, so with the intervention of their relatives, they finally get their happy ending.
“Around four months ago, a relative told us about a girl who was also of short stature. Although I was initially rejected by her family due to my height, the intervention of our relatives led to the marriage happening,” Arshad said.
After all was set, Arshad happily led his Barat to Sona’s house with his relatives. Dressed in a sherwani, he looked happy among his friends and family who always wished for him to get married one day. Arshad’s friend also celebrated his happy occasion by distributing sweets among friends and relatives.
