Woman electrocuted while plucking flowers in Balasore
A woman was electrocuted after coming in contact with the live wire at Nanduru village under Khaira police limits of Balasore district
Balasore: A woman was electrocuted after coming in contact with the live wire at Nanduru village under Khaira police limits of Balasore district on wee hours today.
A deceased woman has been identified as Annapurna Rout of the same village.
Reports say, Annapurna had gone to pluck flowers in her backyard, when she came in contact with a live wire that was uprooted yesterday. While plucking flowers she caught hold of the wire and she became unconscious.
The family members then took her to the Khaira Community Health Centre (CHC) where she was declared dead by the doctors.
After hearing the news of her death, a pal of gloom has descended the village.
