Bhubaneswar: A wild cat was found dead under mysterious circumstances within 24 hours at Nandankanan Zoological park in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The Zoo authorities informed, the reason behind the death of wild cat is still unknown. The exact reason will be known after the post-mortem reports arrive.
Yesterday, the Nandankanan Zoo authorities had brought gibbons and wild cats by exchanging tigers. As a part of the animal exchange program, the zoo has got two gibbons and two wild cats.
In exchange, the Nandankanan Zoo has given two tigers and three crocodiles to Arunachal Pradesh’s Itanagar Zoological Park.
