Dhenkanal: A rare snake has been rescued at Ranangapatna village under Bhuban Police Station limits of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
The 5-feet long snake was rescued by snake helpline member Subrat Rout, who identified the snake as Albino Cobra. This is possibly the first time that an Albino Cobra was found in Odisha. Such rare snakes are usually found near the Himalayas.
“I had never seen such a snake in my 14 years of career as a snake rescuer. It is a very rare snake. This kind of snake is not found in Odisha. The name of the snake is Albino Cobra,” said Subrat Rout
