Varsha Priyadarshini files Cyber complaint: Police writes to Facebook

Cuttack: The Cuttack Cyber Police has written to Facebook in relation to the complaint filed by actress Varsha Priyadarshini. She had accused some persons of conspiring against her to defame her on social media.

Reportedly, the police have written to furnish details of the Facebook account in the name of ‘Anubhav Mohanty The Real Hero Of Kendrapara’.

They have asked for information on where and how the Facebook account is being operated.

Earlier on May 25, the Cyber Police has registered a case under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 67 of the Information Technology (IT) Act based on the police Varsha’s complaint.

Meanwhile, actor turned MP Anubhav Mohanty has deposited Rs 30,000 in Varsha’s account following the court’s order to give a financial help on or before the 10th of every month.

After depositing the money, he submitted the receipt at the Cuttack SDJM court.

It is pertinent to mention that, the Sub Division Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court in Cuttack directed Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini to vacate her husband Odia actor turned politician Anubhav Mohanty’s house.

While conducting a hearing on the petition filed by Anubhav seeking the court to direct Varsha to vacate his ancestral house at Nandisahi, the Court asked the actress to leave the house within two months of receiving the first tranche of financial help.
