Boudh: Mystery shrouded the death of an unidentified man whose body was found lying on the banks of Tel river near Kamaghar village under Kantamal police limits in Boudh district on Thursday.
The incident came to light after some villagers spotted the body wrapped in a piece of cloth and rang up police early in the morning.
Police arrived at the spot and seized the body for autopsy after conducting the preliminary investigation with the help of scientific squad.
While from the circumstantial evidence it appears to be a case of murder, locals have suspected that the body might have been washed ashore by the floodwater.
