Tight security to be deployed in Bhubaneswar on Christmas and Zero Night
Tight security will be deployed and special traffic measures will be taken over on Christmas and Zero Night celebration in Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar: The Commisionerate Police has revealed that tight security will be deployed and special traffic measures will be implemented on the day of Christmas and Zero Night celebration in Bhubaneswar. The measures will be taken to ensure smooth and peaceful celebration of the festive in the Capital city of Odisha.
Speaking to the media, Bhubaneswar DCP, Prateek Singh said, “Police will be deployed near every church in the city while traffic management measures will be taken up keeping the crowd and vehicular movement in view. There will be strict checking of vehicles and drunk driving.”
“All police stations have been provided with breath analysers to keep a tab on drunk driving ahead of the celebrations,” he added
Apart from this, a meeting will be held with hotel and club owners who are preparing for Zero night celebrations on December 26, DCP Prateek Singh said. He added that all possible measures will be taken so that people can celebrate the festival without any disturbance.
