Bhubaneswar: There has been a students protest in BJB College of Bhubaneswar on Thursday, said reliable reports in this regard. Reports say that a former student of the college had been arrested from the college campus by the police and hence students protest in BJB College has been staged.
The former student has been identified as Smruti Ranjan Panda. He was allegedly present in the campus at around 9 pm yesterday due to which the police detained him.
This move by the police has been protested against by the students. The college gate has been locked by them. They have staged protest by sitting on the road and blocking it and burning tyres.
