Student drowns in Koel River in Rourkela, another missing

Rourkela: A student drowned in the Koel River of Rourkerla in Odisha while another student is missing. The fire services team has launched a fanatic search for the missing student however he is yet to be traced out. The incident took place in the River at Pradhanpali River ghat. ODRAF team has been engaged in the rescue operation.
The deceased student has been identified as Priyanshu Bhola while the missing student is Priya Ranjan Padhy. Both of them were the students of the DAV school. Priyanshu was a student of Class VIII while the other students are from Class IX.
As per reports, four friends had gone to the Koel River at Pradhanpali in three bicycles after their classes were over on Saturday. Priyanshu Bhola and Priya Ranjan Padhy were taking bathe in the River while the other two students were at the River bank.
As the two students inside the water somehow swept away in to the deep water, the other two friends screamed for help. The locals rushed to the spot and tried to rescue the boys but in vain. Meanwhile, Police and Fire Service personnel reached the spot after getting information about the drowning.
