Nayagarh: About one and a half crore worth of property got burnt due to an electricity short circuit in Nayagarh district of Odisha said reports on Thursday.

According to reliable reports, a fire broke out in an electronics shop on Nayagarh-Odogaon road late last night, causing extensive damage to property. About one and a half crore worth of goods were burnt. The dangerous fire occurred from an electrical short circuit.

The shop owner and his family reached the spot but it was too late. The Nayagarh Fire Department was informed immediately by the locals. They arrived at the spot and extinguished the fire from the Short circuit in Nayagarh. But, by the time the fire was extinguished about one and a half crore worth of goods were burnt to ashes.
