Sambalpur: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with the Chief Engineer –cum-Chief Electrical Inspector of Sambalpur district on Monday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
The Chief Engineer –cum-Chief Electrical Inspector has been identified as Sunil Kumar Panda.
Simultaneous searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by two Deputy superintendents of police, 9 Inspectors, and other staff.
Based on a piece of reliable information, the vigilance sleuths have conducted raids at four places in Sambalpur and Khordha districts on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.

4) office chamber of Sri Panda, Chief Engineer –cum-Chief Electrical Inspector, Sambalpur located at O/o Chief Electrical Inspector, Western Zone, Sambalpur, Left Lane-4, Jagannath Colony, Budharaja, Dist. Sambalpur
The anti-corruption team is said to have seized his moveable and immovable assets worth over Rs 3.39 crore. Further investigation is underway.
