Jajpur: In a tragic incident, a bike rider has died in a road accident in Jajpur district of Odisha, said reliable reports in this regard on Friday. According to reliable reports, the accident on the National Highway 16 near Rasulpur Block in Jajpur District of Odisha.
According to reports, a biker died in an accident on a collapsed bridge. The deceased youth was Biswajit Panda of Nathuabar village of Kuakhia police station. This morning, the local people found the dead body with the bike on the collapsed bridge.
Reports allegedly say that, Kuakhia police immediately informed the police. Kuakhia police reached the spot, identified the dead body, recovered it and sent it to Dharmashala Hospital for postmortem.
It is worth noting that this bridge collapsed about 10 feet near the National Highway since the last eight months and it has not been repaired. It has been alleged that the NHAI is not listening to the demands of the local residents for the repair of the bridge.
