Pick-up van overturns in Gajapati district, 21 school students injured
At least 21 school students were injured after the pick-up van carrying them overturned at Champa Ghati in Odisha’s Gajapatid district this evening.
Mohana: At least 21 school students were injured after the pick-up van carrying them overturned at Champa Ghati in Odisha’s Gajapatid district this evening.
According to reports, the van overturned while the 21 students of Chelligada High School were returning home after attending a sports event in R. Udaygiri.
Some locals rescued the students and admitted 14 students at the Udayagiri Hospital and 7 other students were rushed to the Chandragiri hospital. However, three of them were shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital
Police is said to have started an investigation to find out under what circumstances the accident occurred.
