Odisha reports a rise in Covid cases, 1 patient succumbs

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported above 100 Covid cases after five consecutive days with 105 positives including 22 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,957.

Reportedly, among the 105 positives, 64 patients are in quarantine, and 41 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 743.

It is to be noted that only one patient has succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha today, informed Health and Family Welfare (I&PR) Department.

The health department has said that a 40 years old Female of Cuttack district has lost her life.
