Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Friday reported only 17 new Covid cases including three in the 0-18 years age group, informed to the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,902.
Reportedly, among the 17 positives, 10 patients are in quarantine, and seven are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 121.

Adding to it, a 52-years-old Female of Dhenkanal succumbed to Covid. He was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Seizure Disorder.
Notably, the Covid booster dose has been made available for all adults above the age of 18 at private vaccination centres from April 10.
All those who are more than 18 years of age and have completed 9 months after the administration of the second dose, are eligible for the booster dose.
