Odisha government has created as many as 902 teaching and non-teaching posts in 106 Upgraded Higher Secondary Schools of the State.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has created as many as 902 teaching and non-teaching posts in 106 Upgraded Higher Secondary Schools of the State, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department.

As per the notification issued by the I&PR Department, 902 teaching and non-teaching, newly created posts include 642 Posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), 24 Laboratory Assistant Posts, 24 Laboratory Attendant Posts, 106 Assistant Librarian Posts and 106 Junior Clerk Posts.

Notification for the recruitment of the 902 teaching and non-teaching posts will be issued soon, added the I&PR Department.

It is to be noted here that the Odisha government has upgraded 106 higher secondary schools to provide Plus Two education. Students who complete matriculation can study Plus Two in the upgraded schools.

Today’s development regarding creation of the 902 teaching and non-teaching posts is aimed at to fulfill the requirement of the upgraded 106 higher secondary schools to provide Plus Two education.
