Odisha BJP to hold month-long protest in front of RI offices for farmers’ rights

Odisha Govt announces Agri Input Subsidy of Rs.137.51 CrBhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of BJP on Monday declared to hold a month-long protest in front of the office of revenue inspectors (RI) across the state for farmers’ rights.

The demonstration will be held from December 1 to 30.

The Krushak Morcha (Farmers’ Wing) of the saffron party alleged that after the drought like situation and pest-affected paddy fields in some part of the state, farmers are now facing low pressure rain just before the harvest season, but the state government is not taking any action.

Three teams of experts will also visit the 30 districts from November 22 to 30 and will submit their reports to BJP State President Basant Panda.
