Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday dedicated the ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ award which was conferred on him at the eighth Indian Students Parliament in Pune yesterday, to all the people in the state.
Addressing the special welcome programme near Biju Patnaik International Airport here, Patnaik said, “Your love and affection has indebted me. I dedicate the Ideal Chief Minister award to my dear people of the state.”
“Come on, let’s work together to make Odisha a No. 1 state,” he appealed to the people on this occasion.
A special programme was organised to welcome Patnaik near the airport today. Thousands of people including State Ministers, MPs, MLAs, BJD leaders and persons from various quarters were present on the occasion.
Patnaik received the award from former President of India Pratibha Devi Patil at Pune based MIT World Peace University.
The ‘Ideal Chief Minister’ award was conferred to Patnaik for his outstanding commitment, courage and conviction coupled with revolutionary ideas of clean governance aimed at making Odisha an ideal state.
