Rourkela: In a tragic incident, a moving car caught fire in Rourkela of Odisha. The incident took place near a petrol pump in Deogaon of Rourkela. The driver and another passenger jumped unhurt out of the car, said reliable reports in this regard.
The petrol pump located near National Highway 143, witnessed a huge crowd at the spot. As a result, traffic on the highway was affected. Personnel from the Fire Brigade team arrived at the spot and controlled the fire.
By then, the car had been completely engulfed in flames. The burnt vehicle has been identified as an Indigo car, said reliable reports. The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. However, it is being speculated that the fire might been due to a short circuit.
