Morning School begins for students Of Classes I To XII from today in Odisha
All government and private schools across Odisha have commenced morning classes for Classes I to XII from today that is April 11.
Bhubaneswar: All government and private schools across Odisha have commenced morning classes from today that is April 11 as per the directive of the state Government. The govt announced morning classes for the students of Classes I to XII in order to give a respite to them from heatwave during the summer.
The morning classes will be of the students of Classes I to XII will be held from 7 am to 11.30 am from Tuesday.
The district collectors have been told to make necessary changes keeping the local conditions in consideration. The schools have been directed to ensure potable water and other facilities for the students during the summer. Along with the opening of the morning school, orders were also given to ensure the safety of the children in the school.
The department also stated that the new academic session of the schools will begin from April 3 and the admission will be held between April 3 and 8.
Earlier in the day, School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash flagged off the vehicles carrying the Odia textbooks of Classes I to VIII for the students in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh.
