Odisha government today gave additional charge to Commissioner-cum-Mission Shakti Secretary Sujata Rout Karthikeyan.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today gave additional charge to Commissioner-cum-Mission Shakti Secretary Sujata Rout Karthikeyan.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the State government, Sujata Rout Karthikeyan, who is a 2000-batch IAS, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Odia Language Literature & Culture Department.
“Sujata Rout Krthikeyan, IAS (RR-2000), Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Department of Mission Shakti is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Odia Language Literature & Culture Department,” said the notification.
It is to be noted here that Sujata Rout Karthikeyan belongs to Kendrapara and is the first Odia woman IAS in Odisha cadre.
With giving additional charge to Sujata, the Odisha government is now very keen to take transformative steps for promotion of the Odia language, literature & culture in the State.
