Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident in Bhubaneswar, miscreants have slit the throat of a man in Bhubaneswar and looted cash. According to available reports, the miscreants slit the throat of a person and looted him off his bag filled with cash in the New Year.
The robbers took place in Damana area of Chandrashekharpur police station late at night. As the man protested while looting the bag and slit his throat.
The man has been identified as Shibananda Barik and is a victim of the robbery. Sivananda’s house was already looted. According to the information, at around 3 o’clock in the night he left his shop to go home.
For protesting against the loot, the man was attacked. He was admitted to a local private hospital with injuries and returned home after treatment. Only six thousand rupees have been taken in the bag said the man.
