Some unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 3.30 lakh by breaking the bike dickey of a school headmaster in Nabarangpur district today.
Nabarangpur: Some unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 3.30 lakh by breaking the bike dickey of a school headmaster in Nabarangpur district today.
One Sunil Mishra, the headmaster of the Baghasiuni Government High School, had gone to the bank to withdraw money to manage the hostel of the school. He reportedly withdrew Rs 3.30 lakh and kept it inside his bike dickey.
Later, he went to the vegetable market near the Laxman Nayak school to buy vegetables for the students. He went to purchase the vegetables after parking the vehicle near the road. However, he was shocked after finding the bike dickey broken and the money was stolen.
Soon, he filed a police complaint at the Nabarangpur Town Police station. Based on the complaint, police have started an investigation into the robbery case.
