Miscreants attack Mining officer in Khordha, hospitalised
A mining officer has been attacked by some unknown miscreants and mining mafias in Khordha district of Odisha
Bhubaneswar: A mining officer has been attacked by some unknown miscreants and mining mafias in Khordha district of Odisha on Sunday late night.
The injured officer has been identified as Jagan Behera.
Acting on a tip-off, Jagan along with his colleague reached the site where Muram and stone was illegally excavated and when they intercepted, around 40 unknown miscreants attacked them brutally. Following which, Jagan along with his colleagues sustained injuries.
They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for medical aid.
Later, the Mining department have registered a written complaint at the Khordha police station.
