Met issues Yellow Warning for heat wave condition in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Saturday issued Yellow Warning for heatwave conditions in different districts of Odisha.

The weatherman said that heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

Temperature Forecast: Maximum temperature (Day Temperature) is very likely to rise gradually by 2 degree Celsius to 3 degree Celsius during next 2-3 days and No large change over the districts of Odisha thereafter. No large change in minimum temperature (Night Temperature) during next 4-5 days over the districts of Odisha.

Farmers weather bulletin (for next 24 hours): Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Likewise, the highest maximum temperature of 37.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Boudh and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani in the last 24 hours.
