Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident a man has stabbed his wife in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday said reliable reports in this regard. The act took place in an apartment in Baramunda area of Bhubaneswar.
It has been alleged that, there was a family-related fight among them and the husband attacked the wife and stabbed her in a fit of rage, said police sources.
The husband has been identified as Sapan Kar, he has been arrested and questioned by the police. The neighbours said that the couple were having regular fights since two years.
Further reports say that the wife identified as Madhusmitahad not attended the death ritual of Sapan’s uncle which angered him.
Latest reports say that the condition of the wife is critical and she has been rushed to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. The Bharatpur police has reached the spot and is is carrying out a detailed investigation in this matter.
A similar incident had been reported from Bhubaneswar on Monday afternoon. A man had entered the office of his wife and stabbed her think that she was in a relationship with someone else.
