Sonepur: In a recent incident in Odisha’s Sonepur, a man attacked his own brother with a knife. This comes after the duo had a fight over a mere badminton match. The incident took place in Majhipada in Sonepur, during the night hours of Thursday, said reliable reports in this regard.
Both the men have been identified as Mohammad Tanujal and Mohammad Amir. As per reliable reports, they were residents of Bihar who were working as daily wage labourers in Sonepur.
Reportedly, at around 8:00 PM on Thursday, a fight erupted between the two brothers during a game of badminton. This escalated further into a physical fight. Amid the fight, one of the men attacked it brother with a knife. Both the brothers sustained injuries and were rushed to a medical in Sonepur for immediate medical attention.
Both of them are currently undergoing treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, Sonepur police arrived at the spot. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
