Puri: The Holy trinities underwent “Maha Snana” rituals on Sunday after blood was spotted in the temple premises of the Puri Srimandir.

The Maha Snana rituals means grand purification of the three trinities.

The rituals of Lord Jagannath was delayed for almost 2 hours after blood spill was spotted and also the darshan was closed.

It is suspected that one of the devotees might have got injured and blood was found inside the temple premises.

Due to Christmas thousands of devotees from across the state and outside have gathered on the Bada Danda (Grand Road).
