Balasore: A lady homeguard has leveled serious allegation of misbehaviour against a constable of Odisha police. The sensational incident has been reported for the Balasore deistic.
As alleged by her, constable Alif Kumar Das misbehaved with her while she was on duty at Reserve Police Line Cultural Bhawan. Following which, she made a written complaint to the local RI on September 22.
Later, she filed a complaint at the Khunta police station for misbehavior on October 3 and even informed the district Superintendent of Police (SP) officer through a postal letter.
However, as no action was taken against Alif Kumar Das, the lady homeguard filed a case in the District Special SC and ST Court for justice.
On the other hand, president of the constable union, Habildar Mans Kumar, has been allegedly trying to suppress the case by repeatedly putting pressure on her and making casteist remarks at her. However, the female homeguard warned that she will withdraw the case until justice is done to her.
