Khandagiri police today busted a robbery gang by arresting four members and seizing a whooping cash amount of Rs 26 lakh from their possession.
Bhubaneswar: Khandagiri police today busted a robbery gang by arresting four members and seizing a whooping cash amount of Rs 26 lakh from their possession.
The arrested persons have been identified as Manas Chinnara of Bidanasi in Cuttack, Baishnab Ojha of Chandarpur in Jagatsinghpur, Padmalochan Mallik Nakagate of Khurda, and Adhir Ojha of Janakadeipur in Jagatsinghpur.
According to police, they were involved in looting the house of Hadibandhu Behera in Prakruti Vihar area of Bhubaneswar on October 15.
They had looted the house when every family member had gone to a nearby temple to worship by locking the house from outside.
