Kandhamal: MP Dr Achyuta Samant participated in Christmas celebration at the Baptist Church in Raikia in Kandhamal district of Odisha today. The brothers and sisters of Christian community welcomed him at the Church.
Dr Samanta presented a cake, pens for children and a monetary amount there as a token of gift. The people of Christian community who were present there thanked Dr Samanta for gracing the Christmas celebration at the Church.
Later, Dr Samanta visited the Laxmi puja in the Raikia Bazar and discussed with the puja committee members. He also provided some monetary amount here. The Laxmipuja committee members thanked Dr Samanta.
On this occasion Tukuna Panigrahi, Raikia Sarpanch Gitanjali Naik, Block BJD president Rammohan Digal, Debi Prasad Panda, Bhusan Pradhan, Mithun Digal and many BJD workers were present.
