Dhenkanal: There has been an IT raid in Dhenkanal district of Odisha said reliable reports, the raid has been carried out for alleged GST fraud.
The raid is being conducted by the State GST Enforcement Team Angul. The raid was carried out on two shoe warehouses of a private agency near Baji Chowk road.
Eight to ten members of the GST team have joined the raids in warehouses at Baji chowk and Jagannagar in Dhenkanal.
Angul GST Deputy Commissioner Shivashish Surya Kant Sahu said that this raid is based on some complaints from GST and business intelligence sources. Investigation and stock taking of warehouse will be done on the basis of the complaint.
After the complete investigation, more information will be provided by the GST team and further steps will be taken accordingly, said Angul Deputy Commissioner of State GST Team.
