Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience heavy rainfall in the next two days, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
According to the weather bulletin of IMD, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Odisha on November 16 and 17.
Reports suggest that, the Low Pressure Area over North Andaman Sea and neighborhood is likely to move west-northwestwards and become well marked over north Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours.
Thereafter it is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards across east-central & adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal, concentrate into a Depression over west-central Bay of Bengal by November 17 and reach near south Andhra Pradesh coast around November 18.
The IMD advised the fishermen not to venture into the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
