Nayagarh: In a gruesome incident, a man surrendered before the police with wife’s severed head in Odisha’s Nayagarh district on Saturday.
The shocking incident has taken places at Bidapaju village under the Banigochha Police station limits of the district. One Arjun Bagh of the village had earlier warned his wife after knowing about her affair with another man. Due to this, the couple always used to have fight.
Today too, Arjun and his wife had a heated argument with his wife. After losing his patience, he took a sharp weapon and killed his wife. Later, he decapitated the head and carried it in a bag to the police station and surrendered himself the cops.
Soon, police started an investigation into the matter by detaining him for interrogation. They also seized the woman’s head and body and sent them to the hospital for postmortem.
