General Elections 2024: Political banners and hoardings to be removed today

Bhubaneswar/ Cuttack: Ahead of the General Election 2024, the political banners and hoardings to be removed today, said reports. With a few days left for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.

Due to the sounding of the election bugle and the implementation of the model election code of conduct, political poster banners are being removed from all around. From cities to villages, illegal election posters, banners and hoardings will be removed today.

According to reports, the political posters and banners will be removed by 5 pm today. The Election Commissioner has given instructions to the Center and all the states. The illegal posters, hoardings, banners and graffiti have been ordered to be removed.

Center will report to EC regarding removal of posters and banners. While the elections are being held in 7 phases this time, elections will be held in 4 phases from May 13 onwards.

According to information, the dates for general elections and assembly elections have already been announced. In addition, the code of conduct for elections has been implemented across the country. While there are several regulations for fair and free elections, there are also clear rules about not displaying electoral and political poster banners in public places.
