Khallikote: A gas tanker truck overturned in Ganjam district of Odisha on Sunday. The incident took place at the Haridamula Chhaka in Khallikote of the district.
As per reports, the tanker was on its way to Khordha from Visakhapatnam when it turned turtle at the Haridamula chhaka in Khallikote.
Following the mishap, gas leaked from the tanker. To address this technical issued a team of skilled personnel is coming from Hyderabad.
Khallikote Police and fire fighters are present on the spot. As a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward situation due to gas leakage, two kilometres road from the spot in the approach road has been closed.
