Bhubaneswar: Former Aska MLA Saroj Padhi’s son has reportedly filed a missing case at Capital Police Station alleging that the former legislator has gone missing since Thursday.
As per the complaint filed by Saroj’s son Sangeet Padhi, the ex-MLA of Aska left the house at around 8 AM yesterday. Since then, his whereabouts are not known.
Sangeet Padhi claimed that the former Aska MLA was upset about the phone calls which he was receiving frequently for the last few days. He also informed that Saroj’s mobile phone is now switched off, due to which the family members suspect that he (Saroj) has been kidnapped by some miscreants.
Suspecting him to have been kidnapped, the Former Aska MLA’s son lodged a missing report at the police station seeking an investigation into the matter.
