A food inspection in Balijatra has been conducted by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Health squad on Wednesday.
Cuttack: A food inspection in Balijatra has been conducted by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Health squad on Wednesday. According to reports, this was done on the complaint of selling low-quality food in Balijatra.
A large amount of food has been destroyed by the CMC officials as it was stale and unfit for consumption. A huge amount of food items approximately two quintals such as noodles, biryani, momos, chaat etc. have been thrown away by the officials during the food inspection in balijatra.
As many as four teams are involved in the raid. The teams were led by the CMC Health Officer Dr. Satyabrata Mohapatra. CMC conducted the raid under the supervision of the Health Officer. The team is also checking the quality of oil, colour and spices used in the food.
