According to reports, a fire broke out in a Primary School in Koraput district. Many important papers, chairs, tables and other things were burnt.
The fire is suspected to have started from a short circuit. Locals informed the fire department after seeing smoke coming from the school this morning, said reports.
It is worth mentioning that, the fire department immediately reached the spot and doused the fire. For the past few days, Koraput has been receiving heavy rains while the roofs are leaking.
It is suspected that water has entered the power lines and caused short-circuit in them. However, since the fire was brought under control at the right time, a major disaster has been prevented, said reliable reports.
