Father beats minor son to death in Nabrangpur of Odisha
The deceased has been identified as Sameer Ray, aged 16. His father, Bipul Ray, has been detained by the local police.
Nabrangpur: In a distressing incident, a drunk father beat his son to death. The incident took place at a house in Khanda village under Umerkote block of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Sameer Ray, aged 16. His father has been identified as Bipul Ray.
Reportedly, a verbal fight between the drunk father and his son escalated. This resulted in the father killing his son by hitting him with a spade.
Later, Bipul surrendered at the Umerkote police station.
