Fani Aftermath: Train Services Resume At Puri Railway Station

Puri: Train services resumed at Puri Railway Station on Monday, nine days after the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani devastated the temple town.

An East Coast Railway (ECoR) spokesperson informed that all the Express (Mail), Passenger and MEMU trains originating and terminating at Puri Railway station have resumed operation from today.

Out of the 18 express trains originating from Puri, 15 will leave from Puri station, two from Bhubaneswar station and one from Khurda Road station today.

The ECoR spokesperson further informed that (12277/12278) Howrah-Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express, (18415/18416) Barbil-Puri-Barbil Intercity Express and (18413/18414) Paradeep-Puri-Paradeep Intercity Express, which were earlier cancelled due to the cyclone, also resumed operation on today.
