District visit of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik began today with Mahima gadi peetha of Joranda in Dhenkanal district. 

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik began his district visit and reached Mahima gadi peetha of Joranda in Dhenkanal district.

Further it is worth mentioning that the CM is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the redevelopment project of Mahima gadi in Dhenkanal district, said reliable reports. According to reports, Naveen Patnaik had approved Rs. 112 crore for the master plan of the project last week.

Then according to the official schedule the district visit of Odisha CM will continue in the new year. The CM will visit Sambalpur, Bargarh and Balangir districts. The visit comes ahead of the general elections which is scheduled to be held in 2024.

As the party supremo of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) his visit to the districts will be of major importance to the party from the political point of view.

The CM is scheduled to inaugurate various projects in Sambalpur, including the musch awaited Maa Samaleswari Temple project. Later in the new year he will visit Balangir and begin the Suktel project.

Patnaik is likely to make an announcement regarding according district status to Padmapur.
