Reports say that, after Rourkela and Kantbanji, now diarrhea has spread in Athagarh block of Cuttack district. In Tigiria’s Bishnupur Mundia Sahi, more than 15 people have been affected by diarrhea.
As many as six people have been admitted for treatment at Athagarh Medical Center while one of them has been shifted to Cuttack.
The condition of four people is said to be stable. However, the reason for the spread of diarrhea remains unclear. Two special teams from the health department have arrived in Bishnupur village and are investigating.
