According to reports, the Official X handle of Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar, India Meteorological Department. This is estimated by the regional weather station.
Later the depression is expected to move in west-northwest direction. On November 16, there is a possibility of more condensation and precipitation in the central side of the South Bay of Bengal, said the Meteorological Department.
Meanwhile, cold and dry winds are entering the state from the northwest, rain in Odisha is expected to lower the temperature further. The effect will be that it will reduce the mercury by 2 to 3 degrees below normal. The regional weather center has predicted that the temperature will decrease further in the next four days.
In the last 24 hours, G. Udayagiri of Kandhamal district recorded a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees. Similarly, Koraput 11.7 degrees, Simliguda 12 degrees, Daringbadi 13.5 degrees, Kirei 14.5 degrees, Phulbani 15 degrees, Cuttack 20 degrees, Bhubaneswar 20.2 degrees.
