Dense fog to continue for next two days, IMD issues warning

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow warning for dense fog in several parts of  Odisha for the next two days.

Apart from the dense fog alert, the IMD also predicted a rise in the minimum( night) temperature in the state.

In its mid-day bulletin, the MeT Centre said that minimum (night) temperature is likely to gradually rise by 2 degree Celsius to 3 degree Celsius during next two days in most parts of the state.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated):

Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Subarnapur, Boudh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh and Jharsuguda.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Boudh, Puri, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Bolangir, Sambalpur.

During this time, the visilibilty is limited to 200 to 50 metres and people should be cautious while travelling.
