Dense fog experienced in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: Twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack were enveloped under a dense cover of fog on Thursday, said reliable reports. Dense fog was visible everywhere in the twin cities since this morning.

Reports say, the fog experienced in twin cities was so thick that the roads were not visible. As a result, vehicular movement had been disrupted. Due to thick fog, the road visibility was cut down to only 20 meters. Even in the morning, people were seen driving with their vehicle head lights on.

It is worth noting that since the last two to three days, the state has been experiencing intermittent rains. There will be a big change in the weather after the heavy rains of Kala Baisakhi.

According to reports, day time temperature may increase by 8 to 10 degrees. By 23rd of March half of Odisha and by 24thof March temperature will rise in most parts of Odisha. The weather department has estimated that the day temperature may reach 39 degrees in many places on the 24th of March.
