Delhi-Jharsuguda flight returns to Delhi due to emergency, here’s why

A Delhi-Jharsuguda flight reportedly returned back to Delhi due to an emergency on Friday, informed Director of Jharsuguda Airport.

Bhubaneswar: A Delhi-Jharsuguda flight reportedly returned back to Delhi due to an emergency on Friday, informed the Director of Jharsuguda Airport.

According to Sandeep Kumar Tiwari, the Director of the Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda, a flight of SpiceJet had taken off for Jharsuguda from from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi as per its schedule.

However, when the flight was midair one of the passengers fell sick, following which it returned back to Delhi to provide the flier a medical emergency, the airport directed added.
